The second full-length book I wrote is Ultimate Beast, Ultimate Battle. This is a young adult non-fiction book that shares fun facts about tigers, details on the various subspecies, information about why the wild tiger population has been in decline, and why tiger conservation is important.
What inspired me to write this book is my love for this animal. I’m mesmerized by its beauty, stealth, and power. Because there are so many tigers in captivity (i.e. zoos), some people may not realize how drastically the wild tiger population has shrunk over the past century. This is due to various reasons, including hunting, poaching, and deforestation.
Sadly, sometimes we humans fail to realize the bigger, downstream impacts that our actions have. My hope with this book is to create a greater appreciation for this beast, bring to light the dangers it faces, and highlight why wildlife conservation is important for this planet.
